‘The Wound’ selected for Nashik International Film Festival

nashik international film festivalNIFF (Nashik International Film Festival) is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing festivals which provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers all around the world. The 6th edition of Nashik International Film Festival is scheduled from 20th March – 23rd March 2014. The recent news from the festival’s corner is regarding the selection of ‘The Wound’ in the Competition Section for the Golden Camera Awards.

‘The Wound’ is a short film, and it is directed by MV AdithyaDev. The age of the director will be a sheer surprise for the spectators as he is only 12 and is studying in 8th standard. The short is produced by Rathan Nambiar and Anoop Nambiar, and the cinematography is done by Vinod Kazhaga. The film stars Vijayan Illath, Anoop Nambiar, Satheesh Kumar and Ambili in the lead roles.

This year, Nashik International Film Festival will pay its tribute to Dada Saheb Falke, the Father of Indian Cinema. The inaugural ceremony of the film festival will be conducted on March 20th in Kusumagraj Smarak, Gangapur Road, Nashik. Dadasaheb Gaikwad Hall Nashik is the venue for the festival award night, and it will be conducted on March 23rd 2014 at 6.30 PM.
