Ron Howard’s ‘Rush’ Nominated for four BAFTA Awards

Ron HowardRush’ the movie which is directed by Ron Howard has been nominated for BAFTA awards in four different categories. The movie has been nominated for categories like ‘Outstanding British Film’, ‘Best Supporting Actor’, ‘Best Editing’ and ‘Best Sound Effects’.

‘Rush’ is basically a biographical musical drama and it portrays the life of James Hunt and Niki Lauda, two very famous formula 1 divers in the 1970s. The film showcases the revenge between these two drivers during the 1976 Grand Prix Season. Chris Hemsworth enacted the role of James Hunt in the movie whereas Daniel Bruhl gave life to Niki Lauda.

The movie was released on September 2013 was opened to highly positive critical acclaim, and the performance of Daniel Bruhl was praised to a great extend. He is now a strong contender to win the BAFTA award in the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ category. The award ceremony will take place on February 16th at the Royal Opera House.
