The 6th edition of Nashik Film Festival is scheduled from 13th February – 16th February 2014. The recent news from this corner is regarding the calls for entries and the fee waive for International Movies.

In the festival, International movies will be divided into categories like, documentary, short, animation, debut film and student film whereas movies from India will be under queer section, global warming, social message , Marathi film (competition) and special screening (feature film).

One of the main highlight of the festival is regarding the fee waive for International movies. The festival will not levy any kind of fees for International Movies and other National Award winning movies if they are being submitted before December 10th 2013. If a movie is getting submitted after the deadline, then an entry fee of $ 50 USD will be charged.

In the case of Indian movies, an entry fee of RS 1000 will be charged if the movie is submitted before December 10th. After the deadline, an entry fee of 2000 will be charged for getting an entry. The last date for all kind of submissions will be January 5th 2014. For films made by students, the fee waiver will be only available till November 30th 2013.
