‘The Lego Movie’ screened before 5000 elementary students at the Santa Barbara Film Festival

The Lego Movie‘ directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller was screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 4th 2015. Nearly 5,000 elementary school students were present as the audience during the screening, and most of them were from underprivileged communities.

Two screenings of ‘The Lego Movie‘ was conducted at the festival, and it was followed by Q and A sessions with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

The Lego Movie‘ was expected in the Academy Award red carpet for the ‘Best Animation Film’ category. But the movie will be represented at the Oscars in the best original song category for “Everything Is Awesome”.

During the Q & A Sessions, children asked many naughty questions to Phil and Christopher. The director duo responded to the queries of the children in a very elegant manner. One of the questions in the session was, ”Does ‘Everything Is Awesome’ always get stuck in your head?”. Miller replied to this query with a bit smile on his face. ”Yes, and I recommend playing another song that is really annoying, like ‘Frosty the Snowman,’ to get it out of your head”, replied Miller.
